Lady Starlight

"Lady Starlight" was written in the summer of 2000 for a friend's Selphie Tilmitt shrine. It fits into the arc of "Kindred Spirits" as the first story, with an unwritten one between them explaining how the loving Selphie and Irvine in this story broke up in time for the start of "Kindred Spirits." Originally, this was going to be a story about Selphie and Irvine encountering the Propagators from FFVIII in a story that riffed on the Alien movies, but instead it went into the more cyberpunk, William Gibson in space influenced story you find here. Again, I wrote without a net, and in fact, I had no clue how to resolve the Part Two cliffhanger for ages, and I basically faked it for the finale. All things considered it turned out well.
